Client agrees to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
Booking and Payment Terms
The Save-the-Date Booking Retainer secures the Beauty Stylist’s services for the Event Date. Said sum shall constitute a non-refundable, non-transferable booking fee equal to 50% of the total services.
Services are not booked and the Event Date is not reserved until the Save-the-Date Booking Fee is received and this Agreement is signed and returned to the Beauty Stylist.
The remaining balance is due in full no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the Event Date via credit card (4% surcharge), Venmo or CashApp (@StephanieMazzeo).
Please note there is a 4% surcharge for payments made with a credit or debit card. This fee does not apply to payments made with CashApp or Venmo.
Any returned or declined payment will incur a $35.00USD returned payment fee, payable immediately upon notification and payable in cash US funds.
Holiday or holiday-weekend services (including but not limited to Valentine’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s) may incur a holiday surcharge disclosed at booking.
Headcount Modifications and Minimum Service Guarantee
The initial headcount and specific number of services scheduled (including the Bride and Bridal Party) serve as a contractual minimum.
No reductions in the headcount or dropping of members from the scheduled services shall be permitted after the signing of this Agreement.
The Client remains financially responsible for the total balance of all initially contracted services, regardless of any subsequent attendance changes or cancellations by individual members.
Additional people and services may be added to the schedule prior to the event, subject to Beauty Stylist availability and time constraints.
The Client must formally notify the Beauty Stylist of any requested additions at least fourteen (14) days prior to the event date to allow for schedule adjustments.
Cancellation and Date Change Policy
Client cancellation or date changes must be made in writing (email is sufficient).
Cancellation more than thirty (30) days prior to the Event Date will forfeit the Booking Fee.
Cancellation less than thirty (30) days prior to the Event Date, Client is responsible for 100% of the Total Contract Price as liquidated damages. Amounts already paid (including the Booking Fee) will be credited toward this amount. The Beauty Stylist will make reasonable efforts to rebook the date but has no obligation to do so.
Date changes are permitted only with the Beauty Stylist’s written approval and availability. A $150 date-change fee applies. If the new date is unavailable, the original terms remain in effect and the cancellation policy applies.
This cancellation provision is intended as a reasonable pre-estimate of damages, which are difficult to ascertain at the time of contracting due to lost opportunity, scheduling conflicts, and preparation costs.
Late Arrival or Client-Caused Delays
If the Client or any party causes a delay exceeding fifteen (15) minutes from the scheduled start time, a late fee of $50 per 15-minute increment may apply.
The Beauty Stylist may shorten the scheduled services proportionally or, if the delay prevents full performance, cancel the services. Any late fee is due immediately before services resume.
The Beauty Stylist reserves the right to refuse service in cases of excessive delay.
Client Responsibilities and Allergies
Client is requested to provide a clean, well-lit, comfortable workspace with a chair, power outlet, and stable surface for the Beauty Stylist’s equipment.
Client and all recipients must promptly disclose any known allergies, skin conditions, medical contraindications, or sensitivities to cosmetics.
If a Bridal Preview is not completed, Client agrees that the Beauty Stylist will select appropriate products and colors in good faith on the Event Date.
Client is responsible for supplying any specialized hypoallergenic products required due to allergies.
Allergy and Service Waiver
Client releases the Beauty Stylist, assistants, and agents from liability for allergic reactions, skin irritation, or complications arising from the use of professional cosmetics, whether or not sensitivities were disclosed.
Acceptance of the completed service application serves as acknowledgment that the services were rendered satisfactorily.
Beauty Stylist Performance and Substitution
The Beauty Stylist will provide professional services consistent with the Bridal Preview (if conducted).
If the Beauty Stylist is unable to perform due to illness, injury, or events beyond reasonable control (Force Majeure), the Beauty Stylist will attempt to provide a qualified substitute Beauty Stylist at no extra cost. If a suitable substitute cannot be secured, the Client will receive a full refund of all payments made.
The Beauty Stylist is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Additional Fees
Additional charges may include (but are not limited to) travel outside the standard service area, overnight accommodations, early/late surcharges, parking, and services for extra guests added on the Event Date.
These will be quoted when possible and must be paid before services begin (cash or cleared electronic payment accepted).
Photography and Marketing Rights
Client grants the Beauty Stylist irrevocable permission to photograph and/or record the application and finished looks for use in the Beauty Stylist’s portfolio, website, social media, and advertising.
Client waives any right to compensation or further approval for such use.
Non-Disparagement
Exclusivity of Services
Only the Beauty Stylist and her approved assistant(s) may perform the contracted services.
Any unauthorized third-party interference constitutes a material breach. In such cases, the Beauty Stylist may immediately cease services, and Client remains responsible for the full Contract Price.
Termination for Cause
The Beauty Stylist may terminate services (without refund) if the Client, bridal party, family, or guests engage in behavior that creates a hostile or unsafe working environment after one warning.
Client remains liable for the full Contract Price.
Governing Law and Severability
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
Any disputes shall be litigated in a court of competent jurisdiction in the county where the Beauty Stylist resides at the time of the Event.
If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable.
