Tailored false eyelashes are always included with every adult makeup application at no additional cost. I select the style (from natural to high-drama) based on your eye shape and comfort level. If you are looking for a specific lash style, just ask. ​​

Why do you use premium brands instead of everyday department store makeup?

Your wedding photos last a lifetime, so your makeup needs to be camera-ready. Everyday brands often contain SPF ingredients like zinc oxide or titanium dioxide. These ingredients cause a white "flashback" effect under professional camera flashes.

My kit features luxury brands designed specifically for high-definition photography. These high-end products contain zero flashback ingredients and easily withstand the Florida heat and humidity.

How do you ensure the hair and makeup last through the Florida heat and dancing?

As a Licensed Esthetician and Skin Care Specialist, I prep your skin according to its unique type. I use professional, camera-ready primers, waterproof formulations, and long-wear locking sealers paired with humidity-resistant hairspray and products specially chosen to perform well in Florida’s climate. This helps ensure your hair and makeup stay beautiful, flawless and fresh from your first look to your final exit. ​

Can you accommodate large bridal parties?

I offer packages to streamline large parties. For larger groups, I build out a detailed beauty timeline and can bring trusted assistant stylists to ensure everyone is ready on time without rushing. Adding a second Beauty Specialist is highly recommended for bridal parties of 4+ to keep the morning calm and on schedule.

Do you offer services for flower girls or grooms?

Absolutely. We love pampering the whole family.

Do you offer a touch-up kit?

Upon request, I can provide a complimentary mini touch-up kit for the bride containing a small sample of lip color, blotting powder, and bit of hairspray. Because I use high-end luxury products, the complimentary kit is intentionally limited. A full personalized touch-up kit may be purchased if desired.

 

A custom Bridal Touch-Up Kit is available as an add-op option. This detailed kit comes in a reusable portable makeup bag and includes a curated selection of products specifically chosen for your skin tone, hair color, and chosen wedding look. It’s perfect for quick touch-ups throughout your wedding day or for recreating your special look later.

 

Please note: The custom Bridal Kit must be ordered at least two months in advance to allow time for customization.

Can you cover up tattoos or birthmarks?

Leveraging my extensive background in special effects (SFX) and production makeup, I offer professional tattoo cover-up and heavy body makeup. This service is fully customized and priced according to the size of the area being covered.

How should I prepare for the wedding day services?

​

Wedding Day:

​

Create a detailed timeline with specific start times for each person in your bridal party. Make sure everyone is on site and ready to go at their scheduled time slot. Feel free to share your proposed schedule with me in advance so I can review it and offer any adjustments.

​

I recommend scheduling the bride near the end of the timeline (but not last). This gives her plenty of time to get fully dressed, have her veil and accessories placed, do any final touch-ups, and relax before photos begin without feeling rushed.

​

Plan out a well-lit, comfortable workspace near a power outlet with a chair and stable surface (table, kitchen counter, etc.) for my equipment and makeup.

​

Younger bridesmaids or flower girls should be scheduled near the end of the timeline as they often have shorter attention spans and can easily get dirty or restless while waiting.

​

Have all your hair accessories ready and easily accessible, including your veil, hairpieces, jewelry, hair flowers, and any other adornments. If you are providing any of your own personal beauty products (preferred lipstick, gloss, mascara, etc.) have these readily available.

Night Before: 

​

• Wash your hair the day before (or up to 1-2 days before if it’s not greasy). Use your regular shampoo and conditioner. This gives your hair natural oils and grip for better hold without looking dirty. 

• Blow-dry thoroughly, aim for a smooth, voluminous blowout. Blow dry up and away from the scalp to prevent flatness and oiliness overnight. 

• Avoid heavy products: Skip thick oils, serums, gels, or lots of hairspray. A light leave-in conditioner on the ends is usually fine.

• You can apply dry shampoo at the roots before bed if you prefer. This absorbs overnight oils and keeps roots fresh. 

• Sleep smart: Use a silk or satin pillowcase (or hair wrap) to reduce frizz and breakage. 

• Keep hair loose or in a very, very loose braid/ponytail. Opt for a silk hair wrap. 

• Cleanse skin thoroughly: Double-cleanse to remove all makeup, dirt, and SPF.

• Follow with a gentle exfoliator if your skin tolerates it, then moisturize and a hydrating mask. But don't try anything new that you haven't used before. 

• Hydrate inside & out: Drink plenty of water. Avoid alcohol and salty foods to reduce puffiness.

• Sleep well: Aim for a full night’s rest, it shows on your skin!

• No heavy products: Skip oils or thick creams that might leave residue.

Morning Of / Day Of the Appointment:

​

• Hair must be 100% dry, no damp ends, even slightly. Wet or damp hair makes styling much harder and takes extra time. 

• No leftover products or buildup: Hair should feel clean but not stripped. Brush it out well so it’s detangled and ready.

• Keep your hair down: Avoid tight buns, ponytails, or clips that can leave creases or change the natural fall of your hair.

• Skip extra styling: Don’t flat-iron, curl, or add heavy products yourself.

• Arrive with a clean, bare face: Remove all traces of makeup. 

• Gentle cleanse & hydrate: Use a hydrating, fragrance-free cleanser. 

• You may follow with a light water-based moisturizer if your skin needs it (skip heavy serums that might cause pilling under makeup). 

• A quick hydrating mask can help if time allows. 

• Other prep: Brush teeth, use eye drops if needed, and stay hydrated.

Extra Tips for Bridal Party Success

 

• For curly/frizzy hair: Consider a professional blowout the day before at a salon to smooth it out (saves time on the wedding day).

• Color-treated or damaged hair: Use a deep conditioning mask a few days prior for extra health and shine.

• Communicate: Let us know about any allergies, preferred products, or if you have extensions/weaves.

• Avoid: Trying any new products, excessive sun, dairy (if it affects your skin), and touching your face and hair.
